Counseling Balance Of Austin works to provide children, teens, and adults with the means to strengthen their own mental health. We offer individual counseling, family counseling, as well as couples therapy, and strive to help people overcome the mental obstacles that are preventing them for living their best lives.
At Counseling Balance of Austin, you will experience both professional and confidential therapy that is personalized to their individual needs. We employ a multiplicity of approaches to fit the needs of our unique and individual clients. We meet clients where they are and work with them with an individualized plan that allows them to heal and make progress toward goals they imagine for themselves and goals they may not have even imagined that they could have accomplished. With collaboration, we help them strive to find balance, accomplish their goals, and create positive growth and change in their lives.
In a relaxing and comfortable environment, we make each session work toward bringing our clients positive change and insight, with the goal of reducing the need for continued therapy sessions.

Our Sessions
In-person and online sessions are available.
Progress is reviewed after 3 to 4 sessions, and individual goals are set to ensure an effective treatment path.
Sessions are 45-50 minutes
90 minute sessions available for couples counseling if needed

Individual sessions start at $180/session
Couples sessions start at $200/session
Additional rates for court-related issues are available
Additional rates for scheduling non-emergency texts only with client name are available

Specialties and Techniques
The therapists at Counseling Balance of Austin are licensed and experienced in the use of different therapy techniques, including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
This is a structured, goal-oriented type of talk therapy. It can help manage mental health conditions, such as depression and anxiety, and emotional concerns, such as coping with grief or stress and non-psychological health conditions, such as insomnia and chronic pain.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
This method involves moving your eyes a specific way while you process traumatic memories. EMDR's goal is to help you heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences.
Sand Tray Methodology
This is a therapeutic technique that uses a tray of sand along with small tools, toys, or figurines to help people express themselves without words. It can be an effective way to help people cope with trauma and anxiety, as well as express their feelings in therapy without needing words.
Wise Women Retreats
Counseling Balance of Austin is proud to host Wise Women Retreats. These retreats focus on issues and challenges women face throughout the phases of their lives - from career woman to motherhood to retirement and everything in-between.
